“No going back…” I said quietly, reaching out to put my hand on the inside of the doors.

“Then let’s go forward.” Mark said, spinning me into his arms. His lips were on mine swiftly, drawing me in for the most passionate kiss of my life. Our mouths locked and tongues fenced for position as my mind was cast straight out of this dreadful place. I moaned lightly as Mark pulled away, the world crashing back down around me. Penny was pulled into Conquest as well, drawing free.

A camera on the ceiling turned, taking in the scene.
Someone
was watching. There was no denying what was about to happen. We walked together through the dark corridors, deeper and deeper into the building. The floors were old and well worn by the thousands of feet walking through in better times. Now, the path only served to guide us toward the evil that awaited.

Time passed slowly in here, walking through the quiet tunnel illuminated in dim red emergency power lights. Ahead, was the theater.

Famine gave a motion, lifting his gun.

He didn’t have to explain further. The room ahead was different. Wide open, the seats that made up rows long since removed. Leather and wood clad it’s walls. The furniture was modern and clean. There could hardly be something more out of place, the inner core of this dilapidated place being so preserved. Mark seemed to sense my anxiety.

“The nail that stands out gets hammered down. Show a dirty face in a poor neighborhood and nobody questions you.”

“Is Fong in there?” I asked.

Mark didn’t have to answer, a shout echoed from beyond the door.

“Famine, it took you long enough!”

“Sounds like he wants to talk.” Conquest said, nodding to Famine and somehow squeezing out a small smile. “Doesn’t sound like Fong to me,” Famine replied.

“It’s him…” I said, my voice barely a whimper.

I pulled myself close to Famine, and we walked through the door, together.

Chapter 11:

Fong

THE ROOM
was dark, but there was no mistaking the large man seated in a huge wooden and gold chair at the far end of the modified theater. He barely moved, hands drawing a cloth over the long rifle from the parking lot.

“Nash?” Famine said, his voice echoing across the room.

He recognizes him?

“Mark.” The man replied, standing. I stepped sideways, watching Conquest draw a huge hand cannon from his belt line.

“Impossible…”

“Nothing is impossible, Mark. You of all people should know this…”

“Fong had you killed.” Mark said, his teeth flashing.

“Yes… I remember.”

“We bled over you. The club went to war. We lost a dozen in the MC over it.”

Nash winced, looking away. “Yes, thank you for that… You cleared the way. It’s taken me a few years to build back up, to take Fong’s place…”

“Nash… I don’t know how you crawled from hell, but I intend to send you back.”

“You still don’t get it, do you?” Nash whispered softly. “I took the name, Mark. I took the name because I knew it would draw you in.”

Mark’s hand was shaking, his eyes squinted as he stared across the room at the huge man, the shadows cast by flashing lights along the walls.

“We were blood Nash, we were brothers!”

“Your betrayed the club Famine. You and conquest. Your time out of jail was worth more than your principles. You rolled on people, turned, the club is nothing but a government lapdog.”

“Do you think you’re going to get out of here alive?” Conquest said, waving his gun. “You’ve went too far… You’re insane.” Conquest was stepping forward.

“You went too far. You turned in our brothers, our friends.”

Nash stood, his hulking form breathing steadily, the rise and fall of his chest evident as his muscles flexed with hidden strength.

“And I have no intention of getting out of here alive. Don’t you see, Famine? You’ve brought me a great gift…” Nash said cooly, his eyes falling on me. I could almost feel his hands on me again. I shivered in fear.

“She is mine.” Famine said, growling.

“She is dead.”

Bullets ripped through the air. I looked up to see Penny firing unexpectedly, and I lifted my own revolver, pulling the trigger. Nash staggered, falling backward and rolling, his own rifle exploding as he fired a single shot, a shout filling the room. I was moving, rounding the table with Penny and Conquest. On the ground, Nash grinned up sickly.

“Dead... You are already dead.” Nash said, coughing up blood, his mouth twisted. In his hand, I could see something. Small, plastic. Nash pressed it firmly between his fingers and the floor shuddered, a strange feeling as if it were vibrating beneath my knees.

“YOU ARE ALREADY DEAD!” Nash shouted, loud as Conquest silenced him with a bullet.

“Run Kayla... Run, please.” I stared back at Famine, his leg shattered beneath him. Nash’s bullet had torn straight through his thigh.

In the direction Nash was pointing was a small opening along the wall, an old emergency exit. My feet carried me before I could protest, lurching to the sound of oncoming doom. Conquest and Penny followed, reaching out and grabbing Famine together. We ran, dragging him behind us. My whole body rippled with adrenaline strength as he protested, the entire building shaking. The ceiling began to come down, and Penny screamed, her leg pinned by a fallen pillar.

“Get him out, I’ve got this.” Conquest shouted, turning back as I dragged Famine out the door. The whole world seemed to explode into light and noise as we hit the dirt back alley, a vicious explosion rising up behind us, clouds of dust and smoke rolling over and blocking light as I was thrown to the ground.

The sounds of fingertips scraping on earth reached my ears as we crawled toward the light. As if separated from flesh, the sound of my own cries seemed distant as my determined arms dragged us forward, Mark’s limp body hung like an impossible burden working against us. Every move was slow, calculated, driving us closer to salvation. The blood pulsed under my skin, strong as ever. I found myself suddenly out of body, watching the woman I barely recognized as myself drawing herself upward.

Her muscles showed signs of wear as she kept up the pace, dirt clinging to the tattered cloth that used to be a blouse. Somehow, the cotton hadn't completely abandoned her, holding tight despite the ruined appearance and the blood. I knew she could feel the rumble of earth chasing her as her hands grasped for the edge of the darkness, I could feel it, faintly, in the fingertips that barely felt like mine anymore. The light of the alley was so close I could almost touch it. Mark’s breath was coming in short gasps and coughs, his useless destroyed leg dragging behind. For a moment if felt like a rebirth as Kayla drew herself into the cool air, pulling Mark out of the dust and fire behind her, laying face down in the dirt. A loud rumbling sound grew, as if hell itself was rising. Arms thrown over her head, Kayla screamed, voice drowned in the explosion as rock and dust flew from the collapsing building she just escaped.

Suddenly, I crashed back into myself, soul firmly attached to flesh as the brick and mortar pelted my back.

It was over, it had to be. Nothing could have survived that collapse. Nash had set the whole place to blow, certainly he couldn’
t have survived… Conquest… Penny… I rolled to stare at the sky, the dust clouding my vision, fingers reach out for Famine. A shadow rose up, blocking the light. Legs wheeled against the dirt uselessly, arms flailing to pull away. I had no idea what was coming, I had to protect Mark, I had to survive. As the shadow drew close I realized this was not the end. Far from it, in fact. This was just the beginning... My fist clenched as my mind swam. The light closed in, my vision giving out from sheer exertion as I lost grip on the revolver, and soon, my own consciousness.

Chapter 12:

The Return

EVERYTHING HURT
, my head, my body, even my bare fingertips. I groaned, feeling the pain wash over me as I sipped the beer. I was hurt bad, but, I’d never felt more alive… My eyes flashed open again, lifting the beer, the light blinding me as I the roll-up pulled open, a bike rode in, the engine deafening as it roared against the walls.

“Famine...” I shouted, waving. He swung a cast covered leg off the bike. Even a shattered femur wasn’t keeping him from riding. I smiled as he hobbled his way to me, drawing a crutch from the side of the bike.

“Conquest woke up. Penny’s still there at the hospital. The doc says he’s going to be OK.”

“I could see it in your eyes, Famine. Under that big tough exterior, you care about someone,” I said, ribbing him with my finger. He laughed.

“More than that, actually,” Mark replied, reaching forward and giving me a kiss. “He’s like a brother… Hey, look at this.”

Mark reached forward to grab the television controls on the bar, the big flat panel across the way coming to life.

“Terror group implicated in Los Angeles explosion… Three unidentified males dead inside… May be connected to human trafficking ring…” The snippets of news were clear, we were safe… For now.

“And you…” Mark said, turning back. to look at me. “While I was there I checked out your chart… Why didn’t you tell me?”

“I couldn’t be sure…”

“Our baby,” Famine said, more of a statement of awe than a discussion. I fell into him, holding my body tight.

“I thought I was going to lose you...” I whispered, crying.

“Never.” Mark said, softly. “I will always be by your side Kayla, always...”

I shook lightly as he took my hand, and found myself shocked as he dropped down to his still-working knee, the cast awkwardly held out at an odd angle.

“Will you marry me Kayla? Please?”

My eyes poured tears as I nodded, staring into his deep eyes.

“Yes, Mark... Oh god yes...”

“In that case, I think we might need to consummate the marriage.”

I gave him a little punch on the arm and grinned. “You’re supposed to wait till after the marriage!”

“I don’t play by the rules. I thought you knew that.”

The trip upstairs was the longest walk of my life, Famine’s arm thrown over my shoulder as we walked to the room. We didn’t stop at the smaller bunks, moving toward Conquest’s room at the back.

“He won’t mind,” Famine whispered. “You’ve got his vote, and War and Death gave you theirs too. You’re one of the Horsemen now.”

Hobbling on his cast, he leaned over to kiss me. Our lips locked, embracing like two long lost lovers. My whole body melted, brain awash in his scent. I grabbed his head tightly, pulling him hard into me, tongues fencing for dominance as he groaned loudly. My hand had found the object of my desire, his cock straining under his loose pant leg.

“You might need to do the work today Kayla… My leg…”

“I’ve got this,” I said, pushing him backward onto the bed, reaching down and pulling hard on his beltline, drawing the loose pants open.

“Oh god Kayla... Please.” Mark pleaded as I engulfed him in one swift motion of my head. His cock slid deep, the head popping ever so slightly in and out of my throat as he gripped my hair and pulled me tight against his lower stomach. I wasn’t about to stop, I drew back and engulfed him again, gasping out wildly as my free hand found its way to my own thigh, sliding up my leg and under my skirt, softly moving my panties aside and diving into the folds of my pussy. My fingertip rolled across my wetness as I took him deep, moaning on his length.

“Oh Mark...” I whispered, pulling off long enough to look him in the eyes as my pussy shuddered, the orgasm racking my body. “Cum in my mouth baby... I need you to cum in my mouth.” I whispered, driving myself back down around him. Again and again he slid inside, fucking my mouth as I moaned wildly. The man of my dreams, my biker, my Horseman, my soon to be husband and father of my child. He was powerless as I drove him over the cliff.

“Baby… I’m cumming… Oh god… I thought you wanted to fuck?”

Salty splashes pelted my tongue, rolling along as he came, his body shuddering. I groaned, swallowing along his length, smiling around his swelling cock. As I lifted off, I smiled, straddling his waist.

“I do want to fuck, but I wanted to take my time, and you wouldn’t have lasted two pumps in this tight little pussy…”

Mark moaned loudly as I slid downward, his cock parting my folds and impaling my body. It was filling my every little space. I cried out against him, the sensation of pleasure overwhelming.

“I love you, Kayla…” Mark whispered, his cock sliding in and out of my willing and wet pussy almost painfully slowly as I bounced carefully atop him.

“I love you, Famine.” I whispered back, clenching around his length and drawing a groan from his lips. We made love, not for the first time, but in a way that wasn’t the same as before. We came beautifully together again and again

“Always and forever,” I whispered, finally exhausted, laying my breasts upon his hard chest.

Our bodies spasmed against each other, remnants of the final orgasm explosive and unending, the moment stretching out into our future. It was a rebirth, an awakening, a joining of hearts and minds. I was his, and he was mine, as it would always be…
