Alivia
, if you don’t mind your own business you will get
some too.” Daddy reached over and pulled Erin to stand in front of him. She had
tears in her eyes but there was a stubbornness I had never seen before. Her
arms locked over her chest again as soon as he let go of her arm. “Erin, I am
going to give you one chance to tell me why I shouldn’t spank you.”

Erin
looked for a split second like she might have won, like that was all she wanted
all along. “All I wanted was ten more minutes…” her bottom lip started to
quiver. “But, Uncle Chris said no…”

Daddy’s
eyebrow rose. “So, this is a temper tantrum?” He looked up, across the table to
Uncle Chris.

“It
was time for lunch, she didn’t want to stop playing in the playroom.” Uncle
Chris explained.

“It
was the game,” Sara spoke up, “I was winning so I didn’t care that we had to
put it away. But, she wanted to finish it.” Sara almost looked sad for Erin too,
if that was possible for Sara.

“I’ve
heard enough, thank you.” He looked back to the frustrated little girl, “Erin,
when you are told by an Uncle or any other man put in authority over you here,
to do something, you better do it. Temper tantrums are absolutely not allowed.
I am thinking that if you had explained your situation, it is possible you
could have come to an agreement to leave your game up or something. But, now
because of your actions you are going to be spanked.”

He
reached forward and pulled her over his lap. Then almost as if it was an after-thought
he raised the skirt of her dress. She was wiggling like she was trying to get
away, but it was pathetic if she thought that would do it. Daddy didn’t start
swatting right then either. Perhaps, because of the last time he wanted to be
absolutely certain…

“Erin,
do you understand why you are being spanked?”

“Yes,
but I thinks it’s unfair-
eeek
!” her hand flew back to
try to block as soon as the first swat fell down. Daddy quickly caught her hand
with his free hand and pinned it in place against her back. After being so
hesitant to spank her he didn’t seem to hold back.

Spank
after Spank rang through the dining room. How in the world were we supposed to
pretend it wasn’t happening? Erin was crying out right away and Daddy was
lecturing from the beginning. I wanted to get up and go away but I didn’t want
to take a chance and get into more trouble.

I
looked to my left and Uncle Chris was eating. Seriously, eating. Like there was
nothing the matter. As if somebody was not being spanked at the dining room
table.

Only
here would that be normal…

I
however couldn’t ignore the fleshy smacks and whimpered pleas.

When
Daddy finally deemed her sufficiently penitent and stopped the tempo on her
bottom. I could relax. Well, kind of. It did take a little bit longer, until
she stopped crying and was quietly sent to the corner, before I could actually
eat. Thank goodness, it was just a cold cut sandwich and not something hot. I
did have a hard time never the less finishing it, but I was not going to throw
a fit.

I knew how to get out of
eating.

Naptime
was right after lunch, just like normal. It was funny how that had become
normal in such a short time, too. I was already snuggled and tucked into my bed
when Daddy came and tucked Erin in. She was still sniffling and I wanted to hug
her. I knew we couldn’t talk, but I wanted to comfort her. She was such a sweet
little thing. I mean everybody has a bad day sometime, right?

I
took my pillow and scooted out of my bed. I prayed Sara wouldn’t get a bug up
her butt and be a witch. As quiet as I could I tip-toed over to Erin’s bed and
climbed in beside her. She looked over her shoulder at me as I began to rub her
back but she didn’t say a word. I hugged her and she finally stopped crying and
fell asleep while I smoothed her hair back away from her face. When at last she
was sleeping I relaxed and closed my eyes, allowing sleep to take over.

Then
I was pinned down and my heart was racing. I couldn’t see because the room was
too dark. I could hear water and when I kept turning my head I could finally
see a little but it was dim. I wasn’t in my room any more. I didn’t recognize
the room, it wasn’t in Daddy’s house.

Where
was I? Panic was choking me.

And
then I felt it. I wasn’t on my back anymore. I was on my stomach and medicine
or water, whatever, it was going into my belly from my bottom.

“No…
no…”

“I
am going to
plug
it in if you are not
a good girl…” I saw a hand by the outlet with a plug ready.

“No…”

Livvy
,
shh
, it’s a dream.” A soft
hand rubbed cheek.

“No…
no!”

Livvy
, its Erin… you’re ok. It’s just a dream.”

I
opened my eyes. I was looking right into Erin’s sweet blue eyes. She was gently
pushing my hair away from my face. “It was just a bad dream.”

I
rolled onto my back. I was still in my room, with the other girls, in Erin’s
bed. It was just a dream…. What was it? I couldn’t remember, just a dark room.

“What
are you girls doing?” Uncle Matt’s face appeared above me. “Why are you over
here? Never mind. Come out of here, if you are awake, so you don’t wake the
other girls.”

I
took a deep breath and looked toward Erin and we both sat up, albeit gingerly.
I tried to shake off the feeling of dread or of terror. I was safe. It was just
a dream. I looked back over my shoulder at the bright pink room, the soft pink
and white beds, not a dark creepy room… I shivered.

“What
is the matter,
Alivia
?” Uncle Matt looked at me
oddly.

I
scratched my head. “I just had a really bad dream. But, I can’t remember what
it was.”

“Oh,
I hate that,” he said.

He bent down
and hugged me. “But, you are ok now. And you know what? Jeremy has fresh
chocolate chip cookies in the kitchen. Maybe that will help you forget the
dream.” He smiled at me and tickled my belly.

I
giggled and chased Erin to the kitchen. We both slowed at the “Walking feet”
command that was called out to us as soon as we took off. And sure enough,
Uncle Jeremy was happy to help us to the counter and fed us warm cookies and
chocolate milk. I quickly forgot about the dark room and the horrible feeling.

It
felt good to be there. Aside, from those icky training days, I kind of liked
this place… and the uncles. I really liked Daddy. I never wanted to leave. And
what about Erin, or even the other girls, we wouldn’t have sister friends with
the new Daddy would we?

When
we were done with our snack Uncle Jeremy let us go outside. Sara and Caity were
up then too. I didn’t really want them to follow us. I wanted to talk to Erin.
I was happy when they went on their own to the swings. I asked Erin if she
wanted to see if we could find a butterfly. She followed me through the garden.

“Erin,
do you like it here?”

She
was slow to answer, as if she was trying to figure out where I was going with
the question. “Yes, I guess… I mean mostly.”

“Yeah,
I mean, I do. I don’t want to go somewhere else. I’m scared. I don’t want a
different Daddy.” I sat down on the small stone path and pulled my dress over
my knees. I watched a long line of ants moving in the same direction we had
been going. I picked up a small stone and placed it on the path and watched as
they circled it and then kept going on straight as before.

“I don’t like not knowing…”

Erin
agreed as she became distracted by some daisies. She picked a hand full of them
and sat down on a small grassy patch. I think she would be content wherever she
was.

“But,
what if the new Daddy is mean? And there won’t be other girls at our new
homes…” I plunked a bigger stone down in the path of the ants. They did the
same thing, as if by remote, not one messed up they all marched around the
offending object and right back into line.

“I
hope he won’t be mean. But, if he likes little girls he can’t be too mean can
he?”

She
didn’t look up, she was weaving the daisies into a necklace or something.

“Yes,
he can be strict and cruel… he could be evil… what if you just hate him?” I
picked up the rock and started crushing the ants. Poor Erin… Poor me… What had
we done? Coming to this place thinking it would be OK.

Livvy
, what is the matter?” Erin’s voice was almost
soothing.

I
stopped smashing the stupid ants and looked at her. She looked like and angel
with her long honey blond hair shining in the sun. She was sitting there
weaving daisy chains as if she didn’t have a care in the world… and she had
even been spanked now, today…

But,
she hadn’t met the other Daddy. I moved across the path and sat on the padded
bench swing. I leaned back and gave a thrust with my foot. It was hard, as
short as I am… I almost couldn’t push with my foot when I was sitting back.

“Wait
for me.” Erin came running. She had a daisy tiara around her head and another
in her hand. I stopped so she could climb up, and she quickly crowned me too.

“Stop
worrying,
Livvy
. I think Daddy will take care of us.
Just let it go and enjoy being little.” She sat down beside me and we pushed
the swing together for a little while. Caity and Sara came crashing through the
garden a bit later begging us to play hide and seek. Of course, I had to
pretend it was a terrible idea—but I loved it. I even wanted to be it
first. I am an awesome seeker.

It
was a very nice afternoon for all of us girls, surprisingly. And, I didn’t
think about the morning’s unpleasantness again at all. We even had my favorite
dinner—fettuccini
alfredo
.

After
our bath I picked a
Little Mermaid
nightgown that had a teal glittery ruffle. I loved teal and I loved the
Little Mermaid
because she had red hair
like mine. And even my hair wasn’t a problem. I reminded Uncle Tommy that Daddy
said he would brush it, if I asked him. And he did. It was the perfect evening
and I was asleep as soon as I was tucked into my perfectly pink bed.

But
then I couldn’t breathe.

It was
crazy. I could see men lined up in the dark room. It was the dark room again. I
was on my tummy with my knees tucked beneath me. Oh gosh, where was I?

Someone
was walking toward me. Who was it? I didn’t like him. He was evil. It was dark,
I couldn’t see his face. “I’m going to plug it in now.”

Whose
voice was that? Did I know him? Was he nice? No! He was going to plug it in. I
didn’t want him to plug it.

I
heard the water. And felt my stomach began to cramp. I was sweating, twisting,
turning.

Alivia
, you must obey all men. He is your new Daddy. Trust
me.” It was Daddy’s voice but it wasn’t his face it was… whose face was it?
Whose face was it?

I
turned my head I wanted to see who was talking. I wanted Daddy…
my
Daddy, not the mean one. “Daddy!”

The
water kept running in the background and the face wouldn’t move so I could see
Daddy. Whose face was it?

“Daddy?”
I called. Where was he? I didn’t want that evil one.

When
I turned my head again it was a hand, by the outlet. “No!”

The
plug. “No! Stop… please… no… Daddy?”

Shhh
- Daddy is here.” I felt hands on me, not trying to
hold me down but picking me up.

“No…
want my Daddy- stop.”

“It’s
just a dream,
Livvy
. Wake up, Daddy is here.” I felt
strong arms around me… comforting me? I opened my eyes.

It
was dim, but I could see my pink bed, Daddy was sitting on it. And, I was being
rocked against Daddy’s naked chest. “Daddy?”

“Yes,
honey, it’s ok it was just a bad dream.

You are fine.
Shhh
,” he kept rocking, holding
my head tightly to his chest.

“No,
Dod-dee
it
wath
awful…” I
cried.

Shhh
,” Daddy stood up carrying me with him. “It was just a
dream, Baby. It is over.”

One
of the uncles, probably Tommy, came up to him in the hall because I heard Daddy
say he was taking me to bed with him.

“No,
I don’ wan ‘
nother
Daddy. Don’
mae
me do
thomware
elth
.”

Livvy
, honey, I can’t understand you with your thumb in
your mouth. I have you now, ok? Nobody is going to get you.

It was just a bad dream.”

I
was set on his big bed, and he scooted in next to me. The light clicked off and
the room went dark… darker than my pink room with the other girls.

“Daddy?”
I sat up and tried to see.
