To have been given the opportunity to write my third companion book to
Downton Abbey
has been a privilege. Delving back into the extraordinary world created by Julian Fellowes, Gareth Neame and the exceptionally talented cast and crew is, as any fan may imagine, nothing less than sheer delight. That they allow me to do so with patience and grace on their side, excitement and idiot questions on mine, is luck indeed.
