Hearing those words, my gut tightens; I know he’s telling the truth, Blaze mentioned that she has been kicked out.  But at the same time I’m hesitant about it, just because she’s gone, doesn’t mean that one of the other girls won’t take her place.

“I understand everything you're telling me, and I believe you when you say nothing happened with Porsche.” He lets out a huge sigh of relief.

“But I’m not sure if I can handle all the women throwing themselves at you left and right when I’m not there.  I can’t be stressing over it and with the baby… I don’t want our baby to grow up seeing all the whores running around.” His face drops as the words leave my mouth.

“I don’t want to worry about another Porsche coming along,” I add.

“Peaches, you don’t have to worry about all that, I will make sure that all the girls are wearing clothes at all times. Hell I will even have the club cleaned up. I want you Alison and only you; I could care less about all the other girls at the club.” He reaches for my hand bringing it close to his mouth, placing a gentle kiss on the back of my hand.

I smile as his lips touch my skin, “Okay… I’m holding you to your word Ace. We can try being together.” I hope I don’t regret this decision.

He jumps up off the bed, coming around to my side looking at me with such excitement in his eyes, “Really?”

Nodding my head, he picks me up and spins me around. “You won’t regret this, Peaches. I love you and the baby so much already.” I laugh as he places kisses all over my face. He grabs both sides of my face, kissing me deeply. My heart feels like it’s going a mile a minute, I’m so happy to have him in my arms again.

Waking up beside Alison is amazing, being in bed with her sleeping peacefully beside me with my hand on her stomach, where my son or daughter is growing inside her. It makes my day.

After telling her nothing happened with Porsche, I’m praying to God she knows I’m telling the truth. When she told me she’s worried about all the women being around. She’s afraid about another Porsche coming along. When she mentions that, my life literally flashed before my eyes.

I rush to tell her I will do anything, make sure the girls are dressed at all times when out around the clubhouse, the place will be cleaned every day. And hearing her whispering those words ‘Okay….. I’m holding you to your word Ace. We can try again being together’ hearing those sweet words escape her mouth, I wanted to yell out and kiss the living shit out of her. Man, I love this woman.

“Ummm…Ace I know I told you we can try, but can you please give me some alone time. I want to be alone right now,” she asks as she brushes her hair behind her ear rolling her lips between her teeth, as she stares at me.

I know she’s had a hard couple of days with everything, I know we can’t just forget nothing happened and jump right in where we left off.

“Sure, I understand. Text if anything comes up.” I give her a kiss on the forehead and I head out of her apartment.

Throwing my leg over my bike, I turn the key, the purr of engine as I rev it, God nothing sounds better, well besides Alison’s sweet moans. I pull away from Alison’s apartment and head in the direction of the hospital to check on Viper. Hopefully, things work out for them; he has been so broken up since she woke up and didn’t remember him. I felt horrible for him, I can’t even think of how I would feel if Alison didn’t remember me.

As I pull up to the hospital, I park my bike. I head inside, I walk over to the elevator, pushing the button to the floor Tammy’s on.

As I make my way towards her room, I notice her door is closed; I don’t bother knocking because she must be sleeping, and I don’t want to wake her up if I knock. What I see when I open the door, puts the biggest smile on my face.  Viper’s leaning over Tammy kissing her, as she holds onto the front of his shirt, moaning softly. Well that is my cue to leave.

Well, I guess they worked some stuff out, smirking as I shake my head, I close the door lightly.

I guess I will be heading to the clubhouse to get some more sleep. I feel asleep on Alison’s bed, she was only gone for twenty minutes. I must have been more tired than I thought. I wish I could sleep beside Alison, I feel at ease with her beside me as I sleep. I shoot her a quick text.

Ace- : I just checked in on Viper and Tammy, everything is good. I’m going to head to the club and try to get some more sleep. Remember if you need anything let me know.

A few moments later there’s a ding on my phone.

Alison- : Thanks for letting me know about Tammy. I hope you can get some more sleep. You need your rest. Don’t worry, if I need anything I will text you.

Once I get to my room, I crash on the bed. Just as my head hits the pillow; I’m out like a light.

Chapter 16

After Ace leaves, I went to the kitchen to make myself a little snack. The food they were feeding me at the hospital. Well if you can even call it that. It didn’t taste any good that’s for sure, tasted like cardboard.

I’m so hungry, but I’m so tired too. I think I’ll make a little snack, then head to my room and take a nap. Then I will head to the diner after my nap for something to eat for supper. I need to talk to Joe, I don’t even know if he knows about the accident.

After I finish eating my yummy snack, my mind wanders; it feels like I forgot something…
Shit.
I need to make an appointment to see the doctor about the baby
.

Grabbing my purse off the counter. I look inside for the number the nurse gave me before I left the hospital. I get the paper out of my bag. I grab my cell, typing the number then I hit call. It rings twice before someone answers.

“This is Dr. Cole’s office. How may I help you today?” the woman on the other line says.

“Ummm…Yes. I would like to make an appointment with Dr. Cole if possible.”

She says she will check the appointment book. She puts me on hold. The music playing while I’m on hold is soothing. About a minute later she comes back on the line.

“Hello ma’am. I have a spot for Wednesday at one PM. Does that work for you? Can I have your name and number please?” She asks with her professional tone.

“Yes, that would be perfect. Thank you. My name is Alison Murphy and my phone number is 555-8465.”

“Perfect. See you Wednesday Ms. Murphy.”

“Thank you.” I hang up the phone, feeling a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. Now I have an appointment for the baby, one less thing to worry about.

Should I tell Ace about the appointment? See if he would like to be there? I will text him later after my nap, he deserves to be there. I walk to my room. I grab my covers pulling them back. I lay down closing my eyes and sleep comes quickly.

I’m at a park, as I look around I see mothers with their children running around. A little girl and boy come running up to me shouting. “Mommy, did you see that?” My eyes widen as I look down at them, Mommy? Did they just call me Mommy? Oh my God? Is this a sign, I’m going to have twins? And just then I feel a pair of arms going around my waist. I look behind me, and see Ace smiling down at me. “I love you Peaches,” he whispers in my ear as he leans down and kisses me. I look for the little boy and girl that was just standing in front of me. I see them running around chasing each other. They don’t really look like twins; one seems older than the other. What is going on?

My phone goes off waking me from my weird dream. I sit up scratching my head. What the hell was that dream about? Glancing down at my stomach, I place my hand on my smooth stomach. I think back to my dream, is it possible?

Am I pregnant with twins? The dream didn’t seem like they were twins. I’m probably just overthinking it. I’m excited, but then it sinks it. What if it is two babies instead of one? My face drops and dread fills me. How am I going to take care of two babies? I start to panic, my breath hitches, my breathing coming in fast pants.

My body starts to shake; I lay back down trying to control my breathing, breath in-breath out. I regulate my breathing, slowly calming down.

I can’t panic about this. I need to come to terms that I’m going to be a mom in a couple of months. I need to grow up. Yeah I’m eighteen but I’m pretty mature for my age. I have another life I have to worry about now, not just my own.

I stand up, making my way out of my room to the bathroom. Once I’m inside, in front of the sink, I turn on the cold water. I place my hands underneath the flow, leaning down I splash the cool water on my face. Sighing as it hits my face.

I grab the towel off the counter, wiping my face and hands. I wish Tammy was here so I could talk to her; she would be here giving me advice and trying to comfort me. We would probably be eating ice cream and talking about baby names. I’m torn that she’s not here right now.

I shake my head clear of the thoughts. I make my way toward the kitchen. I look inside the fridge for something to drink. Just as I get a bottle of water from the fridge, there’s a knock on the door.

Hmmm… I wonder who that can be. I make my way out of the kitchen, towards the door. It must be Ace or it could be Blaze stopping by to check on up me. I don’t bother looking through the peephole; I swing the door open with a smile.

“Have you missed me, baby?” The smile dies on my lips and I frown in alarm as I’m face to face with the one person I was hoping to never see again; Mark. He’s standing there with flowers in his hands, holding them out to me with a grin on his lips.

“Mark, what are you doing here? I have nothing else to say to you, so please leave.” I start to close the door. The door stops. I look down and see Marks boot holding the door open. I try to kick his foot away, but it’s no use it won’t move.

He gives me a crooked grin. “Awe, come on baby. Don’t be like that.” As he coos out, reaching out to touch my face.

“No Mark, please leave. I’m not interested.” My voice shaken with fear, praying he doesn’t do anything rash.

He has a wild look in his eyes; he pushes on the door moving me out of the way as he enters the apartment. I try to move away as Mark approaches me, but he grabs my arm bringing me close to him. I’m scared.

“Alison. I’ve been thinking seeing as Ace is out of the picture now because he has cheated on you. I want us to be together, and I’ll be a great father to the baby.” I’m shaking my head. Why won’t he listen to me? I’ve told him multiple times no, and he won’t take no for an answer.

“Mark. Ace never cheated on me. Porsche set the whole thing up. She’s the one who text me with Ace’s phone. Ace was so drunk he passed out, and she took advantage of that.” I look everywhere but him. I don’t know how he’s going to react, knowing that Ace is still in the picture.

He curses under his breath. “Stupid bitch,” My eyes widen.

“What?” I whisper out. He paces in front of me, mumbling to his self.

“Mark, what are you talking about?” I ask as I lean away from him, looking at him nervously. He pulls on his hair as he gives a frustrated sigh.

“That fucking bitch was supposed to sleep with that son of a bitch. Not just be in bed with him. What the fuck is wrong with her.” He shouts as he punches the wall with his fist repeatedly.
