I don’t need to hear the lies he will tell me. Nodding to Blaze that I am fine with going with him to his room, he puts his hand out for me to grab.

I take his hand and we go down the hall. As we are getting closer to the bathroom, I panic. “Blaze, let's go outside, I don’t want to stay inside.” He looks at me, confused by my reaction, but when he sees me eyeing the bathroom, it’s like something clicks.

“My room is two doors before the bathroom.” As he says that we don’t have to walk by the bathroom, my mood lightens. Giving a tiny nod to Blaze to continue, we get in front of his door, and I hear Ace yelling at Porsche about something.

Oh Shit, open the door, Blaze, open the fucking door!
Blaze looks toward the commotion and shakes his head. Once he unlocks the door, we head inside. It’s dark; he flicks the light on, and I look around to see that it seems pretty clean, which I am surprised about. Blaze is a biker. Aren’t they all messy? I guess this proves me wrong about that theory.

Blaze shuts the door and I try to calm myself down. My heart is racing just being that close to the bathroom, where I know Ace and that girl are at the moment. Looking around I see a desk with a chair, a bed with a nightstand and one dresser. Blaze walks over to the desk and sits down on the chair.

He motions with his hands for me to take a seat on the bed and I give him a small smile. “Thank you for getting me someplace quiet. I can’t face anyone right now.” Blaze tilts his head to the side. He’s probably wondering what happened to me.

He really is very attractive, with his dark brown hair and his bright blue eyes. He would be every girl’s wet dream. But I just can’t stop thinking of the asshole that made out with me ten minutes ago in the bathroom down the hall, knowing his girlfriend was here too.
Oh my God, seriously? What the hell is wrong with him?

“No problem. I could tell you were upset about something. Just wanted to talk to you to see what’s up. Maybe I can help somehow. If someone messed with you, I can deal with them.” Oh God, I don’t think Blaze would think the same if he knew it was his VP that had me in the bathroom, shoving his tongue down my throat.

As I glance down at my hands resting on my lap, I wring my fingers between each other.

I’m nervous to say anything to Blaze. I am not sure what he will do. I don’t want Blaze to get hurt if he tries to confront Ace. But that’s just it, it’s not Blaze’s place to confront Ace. It’s mine. I don’t see that happening though, because I don’t want to see him right now. I can’t face him.

I will have that girl’s face forever burned into my head when she caught Ace and me in the bathroom. God, I’m a home wrecker. A hussy. Oh God, I can’t believe this.

“Blaze, please just leave it alone. It won’t change anything. I just want to forget it happened.” His jaw is ticking showing that he is pissed that I won’t say anything.

“Alison, please just tell me. I promise I won’t do anything if you don’t want me to, but I want to know what the hell happened.” Sighing, I hope he keeps his promise.

“Well, when I was in the bathroom, I went to open the door, but there was someone standing there waiting for me.” If looks could kill, holy shit, I am sure Blaze would have no problem.

“Tell me who was standing there waiting for you, Alison.”

I bite my lip as it starts to tremble. I finally decide to tell him.

“Ace was the one that was waiting for me, and you can’t get mad at him. He kissed me, and I kissed him back. It wasn’t one way. But then some girl showed up and started yelling at Ace, and I ran out of the bathroom. There… that’s it.”

Leaning over and putting my face in my hands, my face burns from embarrassment. I hear movement, and the bed dips down beside me. I look up and see Blaze as he gives me a little smile and grabs my hand.

“I’m sorry you had to go through that, but I am pretty sure Ace is a single man. He has never claimed an old lady, so I’m pretty sure who you saw was Porsche. She wants to be Ace’s old lady, but that isn’t going to happen. They just fuck, that’s it.”

I scrunch my face up with disapproval. Hey, don’t get me wrong, I’ve had sex. I’m not a prude or anything, but I have some respect for myself. I’m not going to go around sleeping with men just to get off. I have a very handy vibrator at home that does the trick with less drama.

“Hey, don’t worry. If you don’t want Ace to bother you, let me know, and I will just talk to him.”

I shake my head slightly. “No it’s fine. I’m sure he forgot all about me when that girl, Porsche, showed up. Thanks Blaze, for being a good friend.” I lean forward and give him a hug.

He wraps his arms around me and kisses my forehead.

“No problem. I kind of figured you weren’t into me that much when we kissed.”

Blushing, I turn my head to the side and then finally, when I get the nerve, I look up into his face.

“I’m sorry. Ever since the diner it’s been Ace that has had my attention.” Nodding his understanding of what I just said, tears fill my eyes knowing that I led him on. It breaks my heart.

The door flies open and there standing in the doorway is Ace. He’s breathing hard, and his eyes are filled with fire.

“Alison,” he whispers, but I’m not sure what to say or do.

I still have my arms around Blaze when the door opens and I see Ace standing there. I look from him to Ace and my eyes widen in horror. Ace is staring at Blaze’s arm that is around my waist. Shit this isn’t going to end well. Ace takes a couple of breaths. “What the fuck is going on?” The sound of his voice makes me shiver.

Blaze gets up and stands in front of me. “Nothing, we were just talking.” Ace doesn’t seem to believe him.

As I look up at Blaze, giving him a tiny smile, I get up from the bed and I walk over to stand at the foot of the bed. My voice is ragged from all the crying. “What do you want, Ace?”

Walking into the room towards me, he stops in front of me and looks down. I don’t want to look at him. I can’t let him see me on the verge of tears.

I feel a warm breath on my ear and Ace’s husky voice whispering, “Alison, please look at me.”

As I lift my head to look at Ace, I see Blaze standing there looking a little uncomfortable. “I’m going to leave you guys alone so you can talk.”

He must see the look of distress on my face because he comes over to me and gives me a little nod. “Don’t worry. Ace won’t hurt you. I am sure whatever happened is a misunderstanding, and he just wants to talk. He’s not a bad guy, Alison.”

I hope he’s right, but I am not worried he will hurt me physically. I’m worried about my heart. I am not sure if I can deal with getting played and rejected once he gets what he wants from me.

I hear the door shut and look around the room. Ace is standing in front of me and Blaze is gone. I must have been in La-La Land for a minute. I don’t remember saying bye to Blaze.

Ace sits on the bed where, I was just sitting moments before and signals me to take a seat beside him. Sitting down on the bed, I hear him sigh as he runs his hands over his face.

“I want to tell you everything,” Ace says while looking at his hands.

“Can we go to my room? It’s bigger, and I have a couch. We can sit and talk.” Nodding my okay, we head to his room down the hall, just past the bathroom.

Ace unlocks the door. What is with them all locking their doors? As if he can read my mind, Ace speaks up. “We lock our doors because we have a lot of people around, and we don’t want anyone stealing anything.”

Ace opens the door to his room and as soon as we step inside the room, I’m floored.  His bed is huge. There are three huge floor-to-ceiling windows that must be beautiful in the morning when the sun rises. I see a closed door as I turn to face him. Before I get a chance to ask him where that door leads to, he says, “That’s the bathroom.”

“Wow, you have your own bathroom? That is so cool.”

I hear him chuckle and sits on the couch, patting the space beside him. Oh God, why am I so nervous. We’re just going to be talking.
Jesus’s calm down, Alison.

I head over to the couch and sit down. There’s a brief silence between us before Ace turns to face me. Grabbing my legs, he sits me fully on the couch facing him. I am pretty sure my face is as red as a tomato.

Usually, I’m not this shy, with guys my own age, but Ace is older and more experienced than me. I’m praying he tells me that he’s not seeing Porsche. But I have a feeling he’s a man whore. I don’t know if I can trust him.

“Ace, please just tell me what you have to say so I can go back out to the party with my sister and Blaze.” I see his jaw tick when I mention Blaze’s name.

“Do you want Blaze? Do you want him between those legs?” I gasp. How can he say something like that? At the same time, I’m turned on by his words. What is wrong with me?

“No one gets to be between those legs but me,” he growls out.

I shiver. How can he say that when he is out fucking God knows who?

“How dare you! You have no right saying that. If I want to fuck him, I will.”

I know that was a foolish response, but I’m fuming mad. My eyes widen as he leans into me. “You’re not going to be fucking him. I want you, Alison. I don’t know what it is about you, but I want you so bad, I can fucking taste it.”

“Ace, please just tell me what you wanted to talk to me about.”

Ace sighs. “Porsche is just a bitch I fuck here and there. She was just a means to release myself. That’s all. She is not my old lady and never will be. I don’t want anyone but you, if you can try to give me a chance. I’m not saying I won’t fuck it up. I’m a man; we do make mistakes, but I won’t fuck anyone when I am with you.”

Hearing Ace say all that, I get flutters in my stomach. You know when you’re excited and it feels like butterflies, well like that but multiply that by ten. Looking into his eyes, I smile. “Ace if you want to try this out with me, I am warning you, if you sleep with anyone but me, we’re done, I don’t give second chances when it comes to cheating.”

Ace’s face lights up, and he has a huge smile. “Oh Peaches, don’t worry. I won’t be going to anyone’s bed but yours.”
Peaches! Why did he call me Peaches?

“Ummm...Ace, why did you call me Peaches?”

“Because your hair smells like peaches, so I thought it would be a perfect fit. I love peaches. I bet you taste like peaches too.” He gives me a devilish grin and winks.

“I like that nickname,” I whisper my voice sounding husky and full of lust. Ace’s eyes are burning with lust as he leans into me, nose to nose.

“I’m going to kiss you now. If you don’t want me to, please tell me because once I start I might not be able to stop.”

“Don’t stop,” I whisper softly.

He looks at my lips and then to my eyes, going in for the kill. He presses his mouth softly to mine at first and then he applies more pressure to the kiss.

He grabs my waist and places me on top of him. I gasp as I feel his hard erection poking my thigh.

He then grabs the back of my head and slips his tongue into my mouth and kisses me like no man has ever kissed me before.

That’s the problem, though, I have never been with a man, and they were all boys before Ace.

Ace breaks the kiss and leans his forehead against mine.

“Holy shit,” we both say at the same time as we stare into each other’s eyes.

Chapter 7

I feel my lips tingling from the kiss, leaving me in a daze. Ace sure knows how to kiss.

Holy shit!
My body feels like it’s on fire. His touch makes me burn with desire. I don’t recall feeling this way with anyone. It’s not like there were tons of men before Ace.

I only have one ex, Mark. We were together for two years. High school sweethearts they say, but one day everything changed. Mark changed.

He grew dark. It started by yelling, not letting me out with friends. At the end of it, he hit me. That’s where I had enough. I left him and didn’t look back. I moved in with my sister. I started my new life without Mark.

I was seventeen when Mark and I got together. I really thought he was my one and only. God, did I get that wrong.

Ace stares at me; I’m waiting for him to continue kissing the ever living shit out of me, but he doesn’t.

“We should probably head back to the party.” I’m disappointed, I pout. I’m not sure why we stopped, but I am happy we didn’t push it. I want to so bad, but I know that if we do, it will unlock something, and I am not sure if I am ready for that yet.

“Yeah, you’re right. We should. I’m pretty sure my sister will be looking for me soon, if I don’t show up.”

He nods his head in understanding. “Oh, believe me, I don’t want your sister to cut my balls off, and she is one scary woman.”

I burst out giggling. This grown man is afraid of my sister. I can’t help myself. I’m laughing so hard that I have tears rolling down my cheeks.

“Oh, I’m glad you find this funny, Peaches. But I’m very much attached to my balls.”

My sides hurt so much from laughing. I shake my head at Ace. “Let’s go, don’t want my sister to end up chopping off your precious balls,” I snicker, can’t help myself.

Ace jumps off the bed and reaches for the door handle. Opening the door, he signals me to go first. Awe what a gentleman.
