My body was finally starting to calm, when the cold shock of lotion spread over my clit. David’s fingers trailed downwards smoothing the pear and mint concoction generously over my hyper-sensitive folds. I gasped when a finger circled my anus, and dipped in, just enough to tease and leave an icy-hot reminder of things we haven’t tired yet.

His voice was hoarse, as he lifted my ass off the bed with large hands, “When I’m done, you’ll be so sensitive all I’ll need to do is breath on your clit for you to be wet and ready for me.” With the familiarity of practice, he buried a little more than eight thick inches of cock in one hard thrust. My vaginal muscles clamped down around him, and we both groaned our pleasure. His mouth slammed down on mine, consuming me, as his hips began a push and pull motion that built the tension between us. His breathing changed, becoming labored as he held to a demanding, fixed rhythm. Fucking me hard and deep, as promised.

I hung on the edge of sanity. “Come with me, Lover,” David demanded. He thrust one final time, grinding our hips together as his cock flexed, and he came in a rush of heat.

I moaned his name as I joined him; completely undone, and utterly ruined for any other man.

It took two more orgasms before I finally admitted defeat and released the trailing ends of the scarf. David’s, “Thank God,” made me laugh as I realized he was as exhausted as me, and only his innate stubbornness had kept him going as long as he had. It was satisfying, curling into the heat of his body, feeling his muscles quake with the aftershocks of the most intense sex we’d ever had.

“I’ve never come so hard in my life,” He panted, or was that boasting? I’d let him get away with a little boasting at this point. “I had no idea how erotic it would be to tie you up.”

“I have a few thoughts regarding scarves and that chair in the corner,” I mumbled sleepily. “We’ll have to see how much you like being on the receiving end.” I don’t know which of us was more surprised when his cock twitched against my backside. Alrighty then, apparently, it was a date. I fell asleep, planning my strategy
.

Chapter Eleven

Saturday, November 8th, marked the first morning we had woken up together too fatigued to do more than cuddle. I was sore in places I didn’t know I had. David’s groan when he settled over to his back echoed my aches and pains.

“That was the most epic night of my life,” he sighed. “We have GOT to do that again; but, maybe in a month or so, after we’ve recovered.”

I rolled up against him and laid my head on his chest. “I had no idea bondage was a fantasy of yours,” I teased.

“Up until last night, I’d never seriously considered it. When I grabbed the gel I had tossed in the drawer the other day, I saw the scarf and pulled it out too. It was an impulse.” He paused, thoughtfully, “Since the scarf was in the drawer, can I assume it was a fantasy of yours?”

My lip quirked up in a grin. “Guilty. I tossed a couple of them in the drawer years ago, but, I never felt safe enough to suggest trying it. With you, it was not only safe, and right, it was one of the most intense things I’ve ever experienced.”

“Yeah, no kidding.” He ran lazy fingers up and down my back, then pulled me tighter. “The idea of being tied up, freaks the hell out of me,” he admitted, “but the idea of
you
tying me up? Geez, Teresa, put in the context of how you responded, I can’t wait to be at your mercy. I told you last night that you are the exception to all my rules, and you are. Just accepting the idea that I could relinquish control and let you bind me to a chair, really tells me how much I’ve come to trust you.”

“You can always trust me. I have a good sense of your boundaries, and while I might push them, I’d never cross them.” My teasing tone faded, and I said, sincerely, “I love you, David.”

He reached over and pulled me fully on top of his chest, so he could see my face. His hands were gentle as he stroked the wisps of hair from my cheek, before he framed my jaw. His thumbs brushed softly over the contours of my mouth. “You may not have your eyesight, but I feel as if you see farther inside of me than anyone has ever
tried
to before, Teresa. You don’t treat me like a pretty face, or a large bank balance - you have reached into my soul and you have burrowed into a space next to my heart… Damn, woman, there are times I think you’ve
become
my heart.”

Tears threatened to flood my eyes and trail down my cheeks. I don’t know what I ever did to deserve this man, but I knew I would hold onto him with everything in me.

He whispered into my ear, “I don’t just love you, I am hopelessly, and hopefully, in love with you.” His finger traced a tear trail (oops, I guess one got away) and by his movement, he lifted it to his lips to taste me. “You accept the good and the bad of me, no hesitation or assumptions.” Those beautiful, tender hands swept over my cheeks and speared into my hair to cradle my head. Two soft kisses, one to each blind eye, and a third to my forehead. “You make me feel valued; and in turn, you make me strive harder to be a better man, worthy of your respect and your love. You are the most important thing that has ever happened to me, and I want you to know that I will do anything and everything, to make sure I’m lying in this bed, next to you, fifty years from now.”

I braced myself on my forearms, so I could hold his face in my hands. “Just when I think I couldn’t possibly love you more than I do, you say something sweet and I fall for you all over again.” I leaned forward to press my mouth to his, in a gesture I hoped relayed all the love and passion I felt for him. “I have loved you since the first moment I imagined the possibility of you, David. Through the years, my expectations of the perfect man matured, and I waited for us to find each other.” I smiled warmly, hoping that all the love I felt showed in my face. “You have exceeded all hopes. You were so worth the wait.”

He cradled me in his arms and rolled us onto our sides. “If I had any energy, I would so make love to you right now.” He kissed the tip of my nose and snuggled me deeper into his shoulder. “Rain check?”

“Oh, yeah.” I burrowed my face in his chest and inhaled him deep into my lungs; the scent of sexy man with a touch of mint and pear. “Definite rain check.”

We must have dozed off, as I felt refreshed next time I shifted away from the heat of David’s chest, and onto my back. I flexed my leg against the length of David’s and contemplated my odds of successfully standing without my knees buckling. Wow! We really did need to do that again as soon as we recovered. I scored big time with this guy.

****************

A cold wet nose gently prodded my arm.
“So, are you two done sleeping already? Ken forgot to refill my water dish yesterday, and I’m thirsty.”
He snuffed briefly, then added
, “Why do you smell like mint, and…   fruit?”

“Hey Red. It’s a new lotion David bought.” My voice sounded sleepy to my own hears. “Let me hit the bathroom first, then I’ll refill your water.”

The mattress depressed as David rolled toward me and kissed my shoulder. “I’ll take care of it, Lover. It’s a quarter past seven, already. Ken will be here in about fifteen minutes, and the guys will get here within the hour. We need to get motivated. I’ll start coffee while I get our boy squared away.”

“Coffee sounds great, Babe.” I turned to receive my good morning kiss, then pivoted off the edge of the bed to head for our master bathroom, twisting up my hair so it wouldn’t get wet under the spray of the shower.

“I’ll drop yesterday’s clothes in the hamper, and your jeans will be on the chair,” David addressed my retreating back.

“Thanks, David.” It had become a morning ritual for David to pick up the clothes in our room each morning, which was only fair, considering he was usually the one stripping them off me every night.

I had, long ago, perfected the six-minute shower. Ten minutes later body was washed, hair brushed, and teeth were minty fresh. I smiled to myself, remembering the minty sensation on other, still tender, locations. Completely content with the idea that brushing my teeth may never be the same again, my fingers danced over the shirts in my closet looking for a long sleeve t-shirt. I pulled one off a hanger, not particularly interested in which one it was. I had given up on reading the braille tags Ken had sewn on each of the shirts. My fingers still lacked the sensitivity to read those stupid little dots.

I heard David return to our bedroom and was amused by his short burst of laughter. “Whaaaat?” I asked, wondering what I’d done this time.

“Ken constantly surprises me with his sense of humor,” David replied, without quite answering me.

“Okay. And?” I followed the sound of him opening and closing dresser drawers, as he dressed for the day.

“Your t-shirt, it has a slogan on it,” David teased. “It says, ‘Dear Algebra, Stop asking us to find your x. She’s not coming back’.”

My chuckle joined with his. “Nope, can’t give Ken credit for this one. I bought it years ago. There are quite a few shirts in my closet with funny sayings. I used to collect coffee mugs too.”

“Yeah, Ken told me about the mugs. I usually grab the red one that says, “Welcome to the Nerd Side. We have Pi’.”

I shook my head. “Trust you to grab the geekiest one in the cupboard.”

“Kettle? Black?” He taunted. “Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t you the Nerdy Girl that picked those mugs?” I was enveloped in a hug, as David lifted me off my feet and snuggled his face into my hair. “And, aren’t you the woman wearing Geek Chic at this very moment?”

Rather than answer rhetorical questions, I kissed my brainiac boyfriend and decided to ignore the obvious. “Coffee?” I asked, irrelevantly.

“Should be just about finished,” he replied, politely letting me dodge his question.

The driveway alarm let us know that a car was coming, probably Ken. As our housekeeper-slash-househusband, he normally had weekends off, but he was great about dropping by to help with meals when we had meetings or when the guys were on a deadline for their software projects.

David led me downstairs to the kitchen so I could pour a few mugs of freshly brewed Columbian while he unlocked the front door for Ken. The driveway chimes went off again, indicating Bas or Gil had probably arrived. I heard Red’s nails clicking on the tiles behind me.

“Hey buddy, did you get fed this morning?”

“Yeah. David filled my food bowl when he refilled my water. Ken and Janey are here, they have groceries with them. No cookies though. Bas and Gil are outside on the sidewalk. They are bringing in more groceries from Ken’s truck too. Maybe they will have donuts?”

Looks like the gang’s all here. I grabbed David’s cup, along with mine, off the counter. Luckily, all of us took our coffee black, no sugar, so it was easy to dispense caffeine to everyone. We invested in an office-sized forty-cup brewing station two weeks ago. This, of course, translated into less than twenty mugs in real life. Seriously? I can polish off a (so called) twelve cup pot all by myself in four trips. Red did his discreet shoulder herding trick to keep me aimed toward the dining table. When I sat down in my chair I was finally able to enjoy the aroma and taste of my first sip.

“Bliss,” I sighed, to no one in particular.

“Love the shirt,” Janey greeted, as she pulled out a chair across from me.

I grinned, “Yes, one of my better ones, I think.”

“Hey Red, how’s our handsome boy today?”

Rather than respond through me, Red moved from my side to approach Janey for some scratching.  If the mental moans were any indication he was in doggy heaven, and I was back in the middle of a dog porn soundtrack.

“Bas called us last night and gave us the scoop on the military job the Team will be doing. How are you feeling about working for Uncle Sam?” Janey asked, tentatively. She knew I was still not used to feeling exposed on the jobs we did for the Spokane Police Department. We normally worked with a great group of officers and detectives, but our biggest security breach happened on their premises, right under the eyes of six SPD employees. Understandably, I was nervous about the huge machine, which is our government.

“We will be working independently, on a mission with a specific goal, so it won’t be quite the same type of work as we do for the police. We have time to develop a solid plan over the next few weeks. The good news is we get an all-expenses paid trip to San Francisco. Which reminds me, I need a formal gown; black or white, your choice. Something classic for a fancy-schmancy holiday ball. You up to picking something out for me?”

“Oh hell yes!” Janey could barely contain her excitement. “What’s my budget?”

“Unlimited,” David interrupted, pulling out the chair to my right. “White. I really would like her dressed in a floor-length, white, sleeveless or bare shouldered gown. I don’t care if you find it from Macy’s or you have it flown in from New York. I just want something beautiful to do my woman justice. Whatever matching accessories you feel are appropriate.” I could hear the smile in his voice as he added, “Feel free to ask Jason if he wants to help you shop; he’d get a kick out of that.”

“I defer to my esteemed colleague who actually
HAS
an opinion,” I laughed. “You know me, I could care less what I wear as long as it covers the essentials and my boobs don’t fall out if I bend over to adjust Red’s harness.”

“I bet Jason would love to go shopping with me. I should warn you though, he has no morals when it comes to clothes shopping. I’ve seen him drop a few thousand dollars on a pair of shoes and a coach bag.” Janey’s tone was appalled.

“He got that Herpes scarf too,” Ken added, obligingly, as he plopped down in the seat next to Janey.

“Hermes, Sweetie,” Janey corrected. “Those are two names you don’t use interchangeably.”

“Amen to that,” Bas stated with feeling, scooting out the chair to my left. “What’s in the oven, Ken?”

“French toast casserole. Buzzer should go off in ten more minutes.”

“Perfect,” Bas said. “We have a tight schedule today, so we wanted to talk with both of you before you head off to the movies this morning. If you guys can fit in your sign language lesson beforehand, that would be great. Teresa needs to stay on schedule, but Team Red will be too busy later this afternoon to break for classes. Gil’s outside taking a call, but he already knows what we wanted to talk to you guys about.”
