I watch as she turns and walks off, ok I believe her but if that’s what he’s like when he’s drunk I would be better off without him. “I was passing thought I would drop by and see how you were doing”

“On a plane coming home”

I walk through my door and throw my bag down, James and Will come in behind me, “Its ok boys, I will be fine I just need to go to bed” they both give me a kiss and tell me to ring if I need them, I grab my handbag and get my phone out, I wave it at them before climbing the stairs, I reach the bed and lie down and cry myself to sleep.

The next two weeks seem to drag by, I’ve been working at the book shop with Will who has now taken over running it, I don’t have enough energy to do it, my belly has grown and I now look pregnant, another thing Will is excited about, he keeps buying me random things for baby. Grey rings me every day at least five times and every time I ignore the call, both Will and James have tried to talk about him but I won’t listen. We arrive at the Doctors thirty minutes later, once he has done some tests that are all good we go to the scanning room, I lie on the bed and Will takes the seat next to me and holds my hand, the Doctor spreads the gel onto my belly and starts moving the wand, he stops so we can hear the heartbeat, which brings on our tears

“Ok Cam, everything is looking great, do you want to know the sex of this little one” the Doctor asks

The Doctor is still trying to explain things but I’m not hearing what he is saying I can’t believe I’m having a boy.
