I take a deep breath when I hear slow footsteps. I see his feet first, then his arms. When I get ready to shoot, I see his face. I let out a loud gasp, drop my crossbow and cover my mouth with my hands.

“It’s n-not possible. I saw… I saw…”

Benjamin jumps at me, making me scream as he attacks me hungrily. His mouth takes over mine, taking me to a wild second kiss. His tongue plays with mine, a sensation so good that makes me moan with pleasure.

“You saved me. I don’t how, but you saved me.”

I steal another kiss. “I did?”

“Yes, Rapunzel, you did.” He smiles and a dimple form in his cheek.

A gorgeous prince indeed.

“Say my name again,” I beg and I bite my lower lip.

“Rapunzel. Rapunzel,” he begins to say nonstop as I close my eyes to take everything in.

“I love how you say it. I love everything about you,” I confess still with my eyes closed. Benjamin kisses my check, then my nose then finally my lips.

Soon our moment of bliss is ruin it when zombies find our hide out. We take our stuff and begin to run. The next few hours are full with stabbing, cutting, blooding, hurting and running. When we arrive to my castle, Ben and I are drenched in blood and little cuts from the trees. The guards almost kill us when we reach the gate, but a simple word from me makes them stop.

My parents are well and safe, along with a lot more of our people that are also hiding in the castle. My parents hug me after I take a shower and change clothes. My hair is so big that mops the floor, literally. I ask why I was kept in the tower for all these years and they tell me that they were afraid from my safety. The castle is always being invaded, and people die everyday because of the virus, so they only wanted their future heir safe and sound if something happened to them. Ben tells me that he ended up in my tower of pure coincidence as he was out for grabbing supplies when a horde attacked him. I also bring news to my parents and to everyone that seems lost. I tell them about my tears, how they brought Ben back and healed him of the virus. I bring hope for a normal and happy future.
