“No more tears.”

“I’m happy.  They’re happy tears.”

He wiped another away, saying,  “Let’s go home.”

“Let’s go.”  Her spirit soared, as he merged into traffic.

“Oh and just so you know.” He sent her a boyish grin. “I’m going to make you so happy.” 

Nick grabbed his wife’s hand, as they drove toward their new life.
