He nodded his head. "So your father is Reaper Jones?" She nodded. "He raise you in the club?" Raise her, hardly. "He didn't raise me." "Your Mother then?" "No. She hated the club, hated my father and she hated herself. Her parenting was non-existent at best. Can't say I blame her, her life was shit." "That's a pretty generous view." Nikki shrugged "Whatever else she was she was still my mother." "So if your mother and father didn't raise you who did?" She smiled slightly as she thought of her surrogate family. "For the most part King and his wife did although a lot of the club had a hand in looking after me. Rose would send her son and his best mate over to the house to save me from my mother's alcohol fuelled sessions with her boyfriends and I'd stay at their place. I'd always go back clean up after her mess and then she'd be back at it again a day or two later. So basically I grew up alongside the boys and I worked hard at being strong, tough so that they always treated me as an equal. Those boys and King are the main reason I have the position I have." "You see her much anymore?" She shook her head "She's dead." She waited for his reaction the typical sorry for your loss shit, it never came. "How'd she die?" There was the question she dreaded. "She was killed. I went to check on her found her tied to the bed cut to pieces blood everywhere. Her killers were still in the house. They were the ones that gave me the scars, the knife, the bullet wounds." She paused wondering how much he'd ask her to divulge. "The MC killed them?" She shook her head "No. I did."

Cole froze "You killed them?" His voice sounded strained. "I shot one. The other one....." Her mind went back to that moment and that ugly feeling inside her began to surface. She shook her head trying to clear it of images. "The other one I gave a taste of what they'd done to Sheila and before I killed him he gave me a name." Cole was tense she could feel it. "A name?" She looked up at him but he wasn't looking at her he was staring out the window. This was her opening to ask him the questions she needed answers to "Bridges." His eyes scrunched tightly shut and he ran his hand through his hair. "Shit." He turned to her his face a myriad of emotions none of which she could keep up with. "They say anything else." "No." She wished now she'd kept the guy alive longer, maybe she could've got more from him. Cole sat back in his chair and looked her over. "That's probably a good thing. Anything to do with Bridges is bad news, especially if it's something you shouldn't know." "Why?" "The guy's dangerous Angel. He takes extreme precautions to protect himself and his business. He never deals directly with anyone, it's always through one of his men and if you cross him the punishment is swift and brutal." The only difference between Bridges and the club was the club did their own dirty work. "So no one ever deals directly with him? How the hell do they even know that they're dealing with him?" "No one questions it because he doesn't give them reason to or because he gives them a million reasons not to and a person would be completely stupid or insane to try to impersonate him or his wishes in any way." She nodded the threat of death especially the brutal kind was a great enough deterrent and the promise of riches a great enough motivator to keep most people in line. She didn't fear death any more than she needed the cash. "The club following this thing with him?" She shook her head "The immediate perpetrators are dead. They've paid for what they did to me. As for Bridges, it's dead end after dead end and no one gave a fuck about Sheila anyway at least not enough to go to war over."

She sighed and looked down at her hands. No one gave enough of a fuck about her not even Nikki. "And you?" "Me? What about me?" "Would they go to war over you?" They would, without question. "You'll never need to find out." The sound of the buzzer echoed around the room announcing the arrival of their dinner. Cole left his seat and buzzed the staff in. A trolley with several dishes was wheeled into the room and placed near to the table. "Will there be anything else Mister Cole?" "No." The staff slipped out quickly and quietly. The food smelled delicious but she had no stomach for it. Cole placed a plate in front of her and she barely looked at it. "While we're exchanging information. How did you know Lenny called me the other day?" "We were tracking his phone." Tracking his phone? That was the sort of shit only law enforcement or some serious techy could do. "Who's we and how?" Cole looked a little perturbed at being questioned but answered anyway "My security team and we have access to certain technology." She knew he wasn't going into any more detail. "That how you knew where I was?" He nodded "Managed to pin him down to within a few houses of his locale and knew the compound was nearby. Heard him talking to you and when he said your boys I put the two together." "Aaahhh So Roger's talents aren't just limited to stalking unsuspecting women?" Cole glared at her "He was not stalking you. He was ensuring your safety and I'd hardly call you unsuspecting. You certainly managed to get the drop on him." She smiled wide at the knowledge she'd got the better of them "I myself have many talents thanks to growing up in the MC not the least of which is sneaking up on someone." Cole's glare continued "That's hardly comforting. I don't like the idea of you being involved in anything dangerous or criminal. If it were up to me you'd take no part in that bullshit." "Well it's a good thing it's not up to you then isn't it." "That's something I plan on rectifying." That comment had her eyebrows peaking. Something he planned on rectifying? She began to ask exactly what he meant by that but he cut her off "No more talking. Eat." It was a command and from the look in his eyes one he was not prepared to take suggestion on.

Nikki watched as Cole pushed the sleeves of his shirt up revealing his tats and set about eating his meal. She picked at the food as she studied his ink. She'd been right about what she'd seen. A line of three skulls interspersed with roses on his left forearm. On the front a gambling themed tattoo with a royal flush, dice, a roulette wheel, lady luck and the slogan one life one chance. On the front of his right forearm a hand with strings attached to a puppet below, the man who pulled the strings, in his world anyway. His tattoos on both arms were surrounded by smoky shifty dark silhouettes like smoky demons. But it was the one inside his right forearm that interested her most. A woman on her knees angled so you could see her back and the side of her breast. Her ankles were bound and her arms were positioned behind her also bound with each hand clasping the opposite wrist. Her face was turned out towards the viewer her dark hair tucked behind that ear. The look on her face was what held Nikki's gaze. Her eyes were hard, defiant but the rest of her face was soft her lips slightly parted conveying ecstasy. She wondered if that's what she looked like when they were "Angel?" She glanced up at Cole. She hadn't realized that he'd stopped eating and was watching her study his work. "What are you thinking?" She looked back at the woman's face. She hesitated. "Words Angel." "Her face. I was wondering if I look like that when we….." He glanced down at the woman on his arm. "Yes, actually you remind me of her in a lot of ways." She studied the figure again. He was right it did look freakishly like her. It was suddenly unnerving.

"What about your tattoo? The one on your left breast over your heart. TNT right?" For some reason she felt the less said about that the better so she gave her usual explanation. "Cause I'm dynamite." He laughed. It was the first time she'd ever heard him do that. It was a deep husky sound passing through his smiling lips and it lit up his eyes in a way she'd only ever seen a few times before. It made him look younger, less intimidating and devastatingly beautiful. Her heart fluttered and a smile crept on to her own face. That was new. At least where Cole was concerned it was. "No seriously what does it mean?" "They're initials. My best friends and mine." She turned her attention to her plate hoping he'd drop it. "TNT so obviously N for Nikki. The T's?" Nope not dropping it. "Tex and Trace" she mumbled and quickly placed a bite of food into her mouth. She felt the atmosphere change the air growing slightly chilly. "As in Tex King and Trace Deveraux?" Why the fuck did he have to know so much about the fucking club? "Yes. Like I said Rose and King raised me and Trace too so we all grew up together. They lived my hell alongside me and we're close. That's it." He continued his frosty glare and while it served to make her tingle in all the right places it also pissed her off. "I grew up in a fucking MC Cole of course I was surrounded by a bunch of men with very few constant women around. That's the life of a child in the club. They're my family and I love them. You're just gonna have to get passed it." Why the hell was she even explaining herself? "I understand but I can't help but feel a little ...." She watched as he tried to search for the right word. "Jealous?" She was creating a fucking monster here and she knew it. She could see it in his eyes, this alpha male, threatened by other men, can't touch what's mine, I own you shit was just the beginning. He shook his head "Possessive. I don't like the idea of another man's mark on your body. I don't play nice with others Nikki. I never have and I certainly don't share." She was definitely playing with fire but she couldn't give him up. He was the only thing that kept the ugly dark inside her at bay. "There's no one for you to have to share with." "Good. Now eat." They ate in silence Cole's eyes never leaving her.

After a meal consisting of small amounts of what she thought must've been half the restaurant's menu as well as a bottle of wine she was feeling a lot more relaxed then she had been earlier. "So Angel, Dessert?" She didn't think she could squeeze anymore food in but the look in Cole's eyes told her she should say yes. "Yes please Sir." He stood from the table and picked up one of the covered trays then held out his hand for her "Come." She wanted to come just from the husky tone of his voice. She took his hand but instead of leading her to the black door he lead her up the stairs to his bedroom. Not what she expected. She'd woken up in there before but nothing else. He left her standing at the end of the bed and placed the tray down on the bed side table. He moved towards her slowly his movements not unsure but not as fluid as they normally were. "Turn around." She turned giving him her back and he slowly removed her dress leaving her naked except for her jewellery and heels. He kissed the back of her shoulders stopping at the bite mark he'd left there. He sighed "I was a lot rougher than I thought." She said nothing as he kissed the mark gently "I've never had that problem before. I get so caught up in you that I forget myself and lose my control." He pulled her hair free letting it fall loosely down her back. "Shoes off." She stepped out of her heels then Cole turned her to face him. "Undress me."

His command surprised her; she'd never actually laid her hands on him before, not like this anyway. She slowly removed his tie and unbuttoned his shirt sliding it back off his shoulders.  She ran her eyes over his naked arms and chest. The power in his body excited her, knowing the things he was capable of, picturing his muscles flexing as he swung that cane. Her eyes darkened along with her thoughts. Cole made a husky noise in his throat "That look. You test my control, make me forget my plans and want to just grab you and fuck you." A full body shiver passed through her. She wanted that but she continued on as instructed. She knelt before Cole and removed his shoes and socks. Her face level with his crotch she reached up and slid her hand over his straining erection on her way to undoing his button and the fly of his suit pants. She glanced up at him and his eyes were filled with burning desire and just a hint of contentment. She slid her eyes quickly back to the task at hand and smoothed his pants down his legs leaving him in just his cotton boxer briefs. His hard cock poked out of the waist band slightly. She gripped the waistband and slid those down her eyes never leaving his rigid length. She waited there on her knees for his next command. She wanted his fist in her hair yanking her mouth on to him. Nikki felt Cole's hand slip into her hair and she licked her lips with anticipation. His grip tightened but instead of pulling her towards him he guided her to her feet and plundered her mouth with his tongue.

"On the bed on your back. Arms out to the side." Nikki followed his commands crawling onto the bed then turning to lie on her back with her arms outstretched. He moved more surely now looping a leather restraint around each of her wrists binding them to the edges of the bed head. Then he held up a blindfold "Lights out Angel." He slid it into place and the world went dark. She felt his weight shift off the bed. The next thing she heard was the metal clink of the lid coming off the tray. The bed shifted again as Coles weight settled next to her. Something swept across her lips leaving them a thick coating. She flicked her tongue out over her lips tasting chocolate. A smile crept onto her lips even as her brow furrowed. What on earth was he doing? "Open up Angel." His hoarse gravelly tone sent a flood of moisture between her legs. She opened her mouth slightly as he slid something between her lips. She tasted chocolate again and the faint hint of strawberry. He was feeding her desert. "Eat." She bit down and the sweet juice exploded into her mouth mingling with the creamy chocolate coating "Mmmmm." This was not at all what she expected from him. As he fed her she heard his breathing change it became louder, heavier. As her own need built she began lifting her head searching for the next bite making little noises of delight and satisfaction licking and sucking at the chocolate more suggestively. She wanted to be fucked not fed.

Cole's weight shifted and she waited straining to hear what he was doing but was met with only the rustle of the sheets as he moved closer to her head. A quick soft touch brought more chocolate to her lips, then another, she flicked her tongue out trying to capture another lick of the strawberry. Her tongue caught the chocolate and ran across a smooth surface. So not a strawberry, she heard Cole's breath catch. She licked out again and Cole growled in response, definitely not a strawberry. She opened her mouth and Cole's weight shifted towards her. He gripped her hair in his hand holding her still as he pushed his chocolate covered cock into her mouth. She moaned as he slid past her lips and his answering groan caused her insides to clench as she began to lick him clean. She worked him as best she could with her head trapped by his hand. She used her tongue and varied the suction but he never quickened the slow drag in and out as he fucked her mouth. She wasn't happy with that she wanted him wild. On the next slide out she scraped her teeth along his crown. The growl that erupted from his chest was deep and primal and she felt it from her tightly beaded nipples to her throbbing clit. His hand in her hair tightened further and he really began to pump in and out of her mouth striking the back of her throat with every push. She imagined the fire in his eyes as he continued his assault on her mouth. He swelled further cutting off her air and causing her eyes to water. Then he came in long warm jets of liquid down her throat groaning her name.
