Victoria shook her head and rushed to the door. “I’m so stupid… I don’t even know why I was hoping for something… This is ridiculous.”
She grabbed the door handle and was ready to leave, when Enzo called her. “Vicky wait!”
She stopped and turned around, facing him. “What?”
His blood was boiling. He wanted to tell her. He was dying to be with her and be loved again. He wanted to be happy and careless. Vicky was the one - she had always been. He couldn’t stand being so close to her… yet so far away.

“There’s something I have to tell you, Vicky…”
